There are different ways to serve omelette to your loved ones. Stuffed omelette roll is an easy to make egg recipe stuffed with juicy veggies flavored with South Indian spices. This recipe should be served hot or warm. For stuffing, I have used onions, cabbage, garlic, carrot and red capsicum. You can add veggies to it as per your liking.
Here is the recipe for fluffy vegetable stuffed omelette for your perfect morning.
Ingredients
- Onions - 1 small
- Cabbage chopped - ¼ cup
- Carrot - 1 small
- Red capsicum - 1 small piece
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Cumin - a pinch
- Turmeric - 1 tablespoon
- Red chilli powder - ½ tablespoon
- Coriander powder - ½ tablespoon
- Garam masala - ¼ tablespoon
- Pepper powder - ¼ tablespoon
Instructions
- Hot oil in a pan and add chopped onions into it. Stir till onion is cooked.
- Further add chopped cabbage and cumin to the pan. Saute till the cumin release its aroma.
- Into it add all spices, carrot and garlic. Sauté till all veggies are cooked well.
- Add chopped capsicum into it. No need to cook the capsicum. Just mix all the items in the pan. Filling for our omelette is ready. Keep it aside.
- In a bowl crack two eggs. Add turmeric powder to it and beat it well.
- Grease oil on a hot pan and pour egg mixture into it. Swirl the pan to get equal thickness for omelette. Cook both side of omelette.
- Add the filling to the half portion of the egg as sown below. Now carefully fold your omelette
- Tasty fluffy stuffed omelette is ready to serve. Garnish cheese on top of it to make it cheesy
Note:
You can cook the omelette by covering the pan with a lid. Once the omelette is completely cooked you can start filling it.
