Pumpkin seed roast


When you prepare some dish with pumpkin don’t throw away its skin and seeds. Both are rich with vitamins and minerals. Pumpkin seeds are packed with minerals and vitamins. Consuming it on regular basis is good for your health.


You can buy roasted pumpkin seeds in market. If you are ready to spend time, you can prepare it at home also. Here is the recipe for crunchy roasted pumpkin seed

Ingredients 
  1. Pumpkin seed
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Vegetable oil(optional) 

Instructions
  • Cut open the pumpkin and get the pumpkin seeds. Separate them from the pulp and rinse off the remaining on the seed. Pat dry and keep it aside.   

  • Heat a pan and put pumpkin seeds into it.

  • Roast the seeds for 15-20 minutes or till the seeds are puffed.
  • Sprinkle little bit of salt
  • Crunchy tasty pumpkin roast is ready to eat. Store it in a tight can.  Sprinkle it on your salads or rice.


Note
You can add cumin powder and red chilli powder while roasting the seeds for extra flavor.
