Hope you enjoyed the simple pasta in red sauce posted
earlier. Here is another dish prepared with macaroni pasta and leftover parsley
leafs.
Ingredients
- Macaroni pasta – 250 gms
- Parsley – ½ cup
- Garlic – 2-3 cloves
- Grated cheese – 2 tablespoon
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
- Pistachios for garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Clean and cook pasta in 2-3 cups of water. Drain it in a colander and keep it aside. Take ½ cup of pasta water in a cup, this we will use it.
- Clean parsely in running clean water and keep it aside
- Put garlic cloves into a blender and make a paste of it and the add parsley leaves, cheese, salt and olive oil to it and blend well. Pesto sauce for our past is ready J
- Heat a pan and add cooked pasta into it and immediately add pesto sauce to it stir for 2-3 minutes.
- Add hot pasta water if the pasta is dry. Garnish with crushed pistachios. Pesto pasta is ready to serve.
Note:
This is plan pasta without any spices. I have added chilli
flakes while serving to my family
