Upma with bread crust


Whenever I make sandwiches or puddings with bread, I used to cut off the edges of bread. So all that bread crusts go waste. In an attempt to not to waste those crusts, I have found one great snack or breakfast item with this leftover bread crust. Its very easy to make and you can incorporate all the veggies you like. You can even add scrambled eggs to make it protein rich.

Ingredients
  1. Bread edges of 25 breads
  2. Onions – 1 medium sized
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
  4. Mustard seed- ½ tablespoon
  5. Cumin seeds – a pinch
  6. Tomato – 1 small sized
  7. Red chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
  8. Turmeric powder – ½ tablespoon
  9. Oil / Ghee/ Butter-  2 tablespoon
